Getting Started

Is FairUp free?
The Community plan is free — perfect for info events and small fairs. Paid plans start at 990€/event for events with up to 30 exhibitors.

Do I need to install anything?
No — FairUp runs entirely in the browser. No app, no downloads. Attendees, exhibitors, and organizers all use the same web platform.

What languages does FairUp support?
FairUp is available in English and German. The platform auto-detects the user's language preference.

Pricing & Billing

How is FairUp priced?
Pricing is per event. The Community plan is free (0€ + 5% ticket fee). Paid plans start at 990€ (Starter) for events with up to 30 exhibitors.

Is there a free trial?
The Community plan is always free — no trial period needed. Create as many small events as you want.

What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer and credit card. Invoices are sent automatically.

Can I get a refund?
If you cancel before the event date, we offer a full refund. Contact support@fairup.dev.

Data & Privacy

Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on servers in Germany (EU). No data is transferred outside the EU.

Is FairUp DSGVO-compliant?
Yes — FairUp was built in Germany with DSGVO at its core. All data processing follows EU regulations.

Can I export or delete my data?
Yes — you can export all your data as CSV at any time. Data deletion requests are processed within 72 hours.

Features

Can I use my own domain?
Yes — use the Event Embed feature to display registration on your own website. Or set up a custom domain via FairUp settings.

Does FairUp integrate with Microsoft Teams?
Yes — FairUp automatically creates Teams meeting links for virtual events. See Microsoft Teams Integration.

Can exhibitors post jobs?
Yes — the Job Board feature lets exhibitors publish open positions. Attendees can browse and apply.

Is there a check-in app?
No app needed — the QR scanner runs in any mobile browser. Assign the Check-In role to volunteers and they can scan immediately.

Do you offer onboarding?
Yes — all paid plans include a personal onboarding call. We'll walk you through the platform and help you set up your first event.
