Keep your attendees informed before, during, and after the event with FairUp's communication tools.
Email blasts
Send email blasts to all or selected attendees:
- Go to your event's Attendees page
- Click Send Blast
- Compose your message (subject + body)
- Choose recipients: all, specific ticket types, checked-in only, or custom segment
- Send immediately or schedule for later
When to send blasts
Before the event: Confirmation, 1-week reminder, 24-hour reminder, logistics details.
During the event: Schedule changes, announcements, room changes.
After the event: Thank you message, post-event survey, invitation to future events, follow-up resources.
Reminder emails
FairUp automatically sends:
- Confirmation — immediately after registration
- 24-hour reminder — 24 hours before the event
- 1-hour reminder — 1 hour before (for virtual events)
Customize the content in Settings → Email Templates.
Message best practices
- Keep it scannable — use bullet points, bold key information, short paragraphs
- Include clear CTAs — "Add to Calendar", "View Event Page", "Download Program"
- Personalize when possible — use the attendee's name and ticket type
- Don't over-communicate — max 1-2 emails per week
Tracking email performance
For each blast, you can see delivery rate, open rate, click rate, and unsubscribes.
