Creating & Managing Ticket Types

Create free and paid ticket types for your event. Set prices, limits, and descriptions.

Creating & Managing Ticket Types

Ticket types define how attendees register for your event. You can offer free tickets, paid tickets, or a mix of both.

Why use multiple ticket types?

  • Early Bird / Late — reward early registrants with a discount
  • Student / Professional — different prices for different audiences
  • VIP — premium experience at a higher price
  • Exhibitor Guest — free tickets for exhibitor staff

Creating a ticket type

  1. Go to your event → RegistrationTicket Types
  2. Click Add Ticket Type
  3. Fill in: name, price (or free), description, maximum quantity
  4. Save

💡 Pro-Tipp: Start with one free ticket type and add paid options as your event grows. You can always add more later.

Ticket type settings

  • Price — set to 0 for free, or enter an amount for paid tickets
  • Quantity — limit how many are available
  • Sale period — define when this ticket type is available
  • Description — explain what's included

Editing and deleting

Edit ticket types at any time — changes apply immediately. You can delete a ticket type only if no one has registered with it.

FAQ

Can I have both free and paid tickets?
Absolutely — mix and match. For example: free student tickets + paid professional tickets.

How do I set up early bird pricing?
Create two ticket types: "Early Bird" (with sale end date) and "Regular" (with sale start date after early bird ends).
