Custom Event URL

Every FairUp event gets a unique URL. You can customize this URL to match your brand and make it easier to share.

Default URLs

By default, your event URL contains a random slug. You can customize it to something memorable.

Customizing your URL

1. Go to your event's Settings
2. Scroll to Event URL
3. Enter your custom slug (e.g., career-fair-2026)
4. Save

URL best practices

• Use lowercase letters
• Use hyphens instead of spaces
• Keep it short but descriptive
• Include the year for recurring events
• Include your organization name for annual events

Good: career-fair-2026, munich-networking-day

Bad: event1, test-event

Changing your URL

You can change your URL at any time, but old URLs will stop working and any shared links will break.

💡 Tip: Set your custom URL before sharing the event publicly.

Using your own domain

If you want to host the event on your own domain, use the Event Embed feature.
