Registration is the first thing your attendees experience. FairUp makes it smooth — no app download, no account required.
What the attendee sees
When someone visits your event page, they see: event name, date, and location, ticket types and prices, a registration form, and a clear "Register" button.
Setting up registration
- Go to your event → Registration
- Choose ticket types (free, paid, or both)
- Add custom registration questions
- Configure capacity limits
- Enable waitlist if needed
💡 Pro-Tipp: Keep registration short — name and email are enough to start. Add custom questions only if you really need the data.
After registration
Attendees automatically receive: a confirmation email with QR code, a calendar invite (Google/Outlook/Apple), and access to the event page with exhibitor list and Job Board.

- Capacity — limit the number of attendees
- Waitlist — auto-promote when spots open
- Discount codes — offer early bird or group discounts
- Closing date — stop registration at a set time
FAQ
Do attendees need an account?
No — registration works without an account. They only need one if they want to access the Candidate Pool or save jobs.
Can I see who registered?
Yes — the Attendees list shows all registrations in real time. Export as CSV anytime.
Can attendees cancel?
Yes — they can cancel from their confirmation email. If a waitlist is active, their spot goes to the next person.
